Robby Novak AKA “Kid President” has recently caught my eye with this following video below.
If you have watched the video, “Kid President meets the President of the United States of America” (below) you will know why.
When you get past all the fun and jokes, you realise there is much more to Kid President than meets the eye.
Robby and his sister Alexia were born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, a rare disease portrayed by Samuel L. Jackson in the film Unbreakable. Robby was born in 2003, since then he has had over 70 “breaks” and yet continues to dance. Along with many things, it’s his resilient spirit that has landed him in the limelight of so many viewers around the world.
Robby and Alexia are adopted by FHU staff member, David. The Kid President videos are produced by brother-in-law Brad Montague, husband of Robby’s older sister. A little confusing at first, still is.
If you get the chance to check out his videos, here is his channel on SoulPancake. It’s inspiring to watch someone this funny, bright and open hearted yet unobstructed by his condition. His natural creativity should continue to inspire other kids of his generation to produce content that can bring soul and content to viewers.
